Privacy

ModLingo keeps mod files, project data, and translation memory on your device. They are not uploaded to this website.

Account and license data

This website stores your username, a password hash, account sessions, purchase records, recovery settings, and license status so it can provide sign-in, payment, and downloads. It does not ask for an email address or phone number.

Translation providers

If you enter your own provider API key in the desktop app and start a translation, the selected text is sent to that provider. Review that provider’s privacy terms before using it.

Payments

Checkout is handled by NOWPayments. Your payment wallet and transaction details are processed by the payment provider and the selected network.

Recovery

Authenticator secrets are encrypted before storage. Backup codes are shown once and stored as hashes. If recovery is not configured and you lose your password, we cannot reset it for you.
